Frequently asked questions

Answers before you ask.

What is PES?
PES is Samhita Engineering's product engineering software platform — an engineering workflow and lifecycle management tool for requirements, traceability, reviews, test generation, controlled changes, and validation readiness in safety-critical software and systems development.
Which standards and industries does PES support?
Avionics (DO-178C-style lifecycles) is the primary focus. PES workflows also apply to automotive (ISO 26262-6), railways (EN 50128), medical devices (IEC 62304), industrial automation (IEC 61508-3), space software (ECSS-style workflows), and general embedded systems engineering.
Is PES available now?
Yes — all PES capabilities listed on this site are available. Request a demo through the contact page and we'll map the platform to your starting use case.
Does the public website describe how PES works internally?
Intentionally, no. This site describes business outcomes and workflow coverage. Detailed algorithms, rule engines, scoring logic, schemas, and automation internals are shared only in demos, controlled proposals, NDAs, or customer-specific technical workshops.
What are the document templates on this site?
Free, public downloads showing document structure for Planning Documents, Software Requirements Document (SRD), Software Design Document (SDD), and Software Verification Cases & Procedures (SVCP) — aligned to controlled lifecycle workflows.
How do I request a demo?
Use the form on the contact page, the chat widget in the corner of any page, or WhatsApp. Sharing your lifecycle workflow, standards context, and current review or traceability bottleneck helps us suggest the right starting point.
Who is behind Samhita Engineering?
An engineering venture based in Karnataka, India, with hands-on DO-178C and ARP4754A/ARP4761 lifecycle experience — requirements, reviews, traceability, verification planning, and audit evidence.
